There’s lots to see and do in Fort McMurray. Choose from 3 - 18 holes golf courses, bowling alleys and billiard halls. Go for dinner at a number of lower, medium or upper scale restaurants or catch a movie at the theatre. Try your luck at the Boomtown Casino or party it up at a local nightclub.
With the changing seasons come changing outdoor activities. In the winter there is cross country skiing, snowmobile tours and ice fishing and in the summer there are a number of adventure tours as well as hunting and fishing lodges.
Fort McMurray is also home to an annual Blueberry Festival. Events include: the Famous Fish Fry, concerts in the park with local artists, rubber duck race, chili cook-off and more.
