Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
- Type of Sales: Manufacturing
- Type of Sales Account: Local accounts, Regional accounts
- Customers/clients: Commercial establishments, Consumers, Industry
- Specific Skills: Promote sales to existing clients, Identify and solicit potential clients, Assess client's needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services, Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service, Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service, Prepare and administer sales contracts, Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support, Resolve product and service related problems
