- Title: Industrial Safety Instructor
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Evening
- Salary: $104,000.00 Yearly for 40 hours per week, Other Benefits, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits
- Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
- Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta, Alberta
Skill Requirements:
- Education: Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not applicable
- Experience: Will train
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
- Work Setting: Business or industry
- Area of Instruction: Construction trades/technologies
- Specific Skills: Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress, Conduct course and program evaluation or review, Deliver lectures and presentations, Train and supervise students in practical shop work session, Practical experience related to area of instruction
- Additional Skills: Use audio-visual equipment
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract)
- Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
- Work Location Information: Various locations
- Teaching Audience: Adult
- Teaching Format: Workshop
- Other Information: Field experience in Fall Pro and AWPs required. Previous teaching exp. not required. OSSA Train-the-Trainer provided. Company vehicle provided. NO accommodations or moving allowance. French an asset.
