Parts Supervisor - #26602BR.
The AMECO Fort McMurray office has an immediate opening for a Parts Supervisor.
This position coordinates the daily parts or warehouse function which includes maintaining proper inventory levels, selling parts to internal and external customers and handling all aspects of shipping and receiving.
Job Description:
- Communicates and negotiates with customers and vendors frequently regarding the sales, purchase or shipping of products.
- Distributes workload and monitors progress to personnel in the department.
- Assists in picking up, packing and receiving orders.
- Maintains files for purchase orders, service work orders, requisitions, maintenance, billing and warranty information.
- Monitors inventory levels, identifies “dead inventory” and works to ensure an efficient mix and movement of inventory.
- Maintains and consistently applies HR, Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of related experience in construction equipment is preferred.
- Physically able to lift 70 lbs. and carry 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills, strong organization skills and good computer software skills.
- Extensive knowledge of parts, inventory and warehousing practices.
- Possess or have the ability to obtain an internal fork-lift license.
- Ability to effectively supervise and improve work processes.
- University degree would be considered an asset.
