Job Description
PARTS TECHNICIAN
Fort McMurray, Alberta
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Purchasing, shipping and receiving the parts of the construction equipment: cranes, graders, cats, forklifts, earth moving, heavy and light trucks
- Perform paperwork, including work orders, parts orders, inspect orders for items, pulls orders form warehouse stock
- Assist internal and external customers in the purchasing of parts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma •3d year Parts Apprentice
- Over 5 years of parts technician experience in the construction industry with the construction equipment: cranes, graders, cats, forklifts, earth moving, heavy and light trucks
- Working knowledge of parts of the heavy construction equipment, inventory, and warehousing practices
- Strong organization and communication skills dealing with customers and team members
- Physically able lift 70lbs and carry 50lbs
- Ability to obtain an internal forklift license
