• The AADAC Fort McMurray Area office offers an exciting opportunity for an individual who is interested in leading a team of addiction counsellors in the provision of quality treatment, prevention and information services in the regional municipality of Wood Buffalo.
• Essential to your success will be your excellent organizational, supervisory, problem solving and communication skills in providing direction and leadership to staff. 
• You will liaise and collaborate with a broad range of community allies and stakeholders and have proven experience in the prioritization, development and evaluation of addictions services based on an assessment of needs and resources available.
• Other responsibilities include recruitment and development of staff, budget control, maintenance of a caseload, clinical supervision and ensuring consistency with organizational policies and procedures.

• Bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences or a two-year social work diploma, plus considerable related work experience in treatment, community mobilization and prevention program delivery. 
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 
• A valid Alberta’s driver's license is required as travel is involved.
• All applicants who possess a social work degree must have active registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers. 
• The successful candidate will be required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.
