Skill Requirements:
- Education: Not required
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Languages: Speak English, Not applicable
- Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer, Dump
- Type of Travel: Local
- Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone
- Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
- Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service
- Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
- Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Hard hat
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation
- Other Information: Local driver (FORT MCMURRAY) required. Experience dumping a must. No accommodations provided.
