• Title: Freight Truck Driver  
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Overtime, Day
• Salary: $26.46 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Medical Benefits, Dental Benefits, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits, Pension Plan Benefits, Vision Care Benefits, As per collective agreement
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible 
• Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta  

• Education: Completion of high school
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Certificate, WHMIS Certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Type of Trucking and Equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles), Tractor-trailer
• Type of Travel: Local
• Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Maintenance and repair reports, Accident or incident reports
• Weight Handling: More than 45 kg (100 lbs)
• Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
• Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service, Handle inquiries from customers, Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Security and Safety: Bondable, Basic security clearance, Drug test
• Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
