Job Description
Keyano College is currently seeking an experienced self-motivated individual to become a Construction Craft Instructor in our Trades and Heavy Industrial Training Division. This is a project position commencing as soon as a suitable candidate is found and ending on June 26, 2009.
The successful candidate will be required to instruct, evaluate and develop students in all aspects of the Construction Craft Laborer Occupation as described by Alberta Industrial Training, including use of extensive theory and shop delivery methods of all aspects of the program. Also, the development and instruction of specific courses in the Construction Craft Laborer Occupation as requested by industry.
QUALIFICATIONS: Interprovincial Red Seal / Alberta Journeyperson Carpentry certification. Minimum of five years post journeyperson experience in an industrial/commercial/residential environment, experience and certification as a Journeyperson Scaffolder. Instructional experience would be a definite asset. A valid class five driver’s license is required for this position.
SALARY: Placement on the salary scale will be dependent upon education and experience.
