What's involved?
 
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, located in Edmonton, this position provides superior customer service to Canon clients by servicing, cleaning and maintaining equipment in an efficient and timely manner.
 
 The key responsibilities include:
 

  • Installing copier, facsimile, multi-functional and colour equipment at customer sites.
  • Performing equipment service on a required basis within specific time parameters.
  • Completing preventative maintenance according to regular schedules.
  • Responding to customer calls in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Maintaining all Company tools and materials, including an accurate inventory of parts.
  • Communicating with the Supervisor and Manager regularly on all aspects of service.
  • Completing required service and equipment performance reports as required.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Are you up for the challenge?
 
The role requires these key qualifications:
 
  • Minimum 2 years of field service experience
  • Graduate of a post secondary technical/technologist course in electronics
  • Complete understanding of customer satisfaction
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Proficient technical skills and aptitude, including electro-mechanical
  • Good computer skills and literacy
  • Experience with network connectivity preferred
  • Ability to work independently and be productive in an autonomous envrionment
  • Possess a valid driver's license and reliable late-model vehicle
