- Title: Family Service Worker
- Terms of Employment: Permanent, Part Time, Weekend, Day, Evening
- Salary: $22.00 to $24.92 Hourly for 15 hours per week
- Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
- Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta
Skill Requirements:
- Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
- Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
- Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
- Work Setting: Private home
- Target Groups or Clients: Male, Children, Persons with physical disabilities
- Specific Skills: Provide personal services support to persons with special needs
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Physically demanding
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
- Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home
- Ability to Supervise: 1-2 people
- Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Child welfare check, Driving record check (abstract)
- Essential Skills: Writing, Oral communication
- Other Information: A $6 LIVING ALLOWANCE IS INCLUDED IN WAGE. Successful candidate will be required to provide personal care to a child in a wheelchair. 6-8 AM/7-8 AM preparing client for school.Extra hours available.
