• Title: Commercial Vehicle Driver Instructor  
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

• Education: Some high school, Completion of high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Not required
• Experience: 5 years or more
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Work Setting: Business or industry
• Area of Instruction: High school curriculum in technology education, High school English, High school Mathematics, High school Science
• Type of Research Experience: Quantitative
• Specific Skills: Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses, Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress, Advise students on program curricula and career decisions, Develop course content, Conduct course and program evaluation or review, Deliver lectures and presentations, Lead discussion groups and seminars, Train and supervise students in practical shop work session, Evaluate shop work of students in trades, Practical experience related to area of instruction
• Additional Skills: Use audio-visual equipment, Prepare reports
• Security and Safety: Enhanced reliability security clearance, Criminal record check, Driver's validity licence check
• Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence, Travel expenses paid by employer
• Work Location Information: Staff accommodation available, Urban area, Remote location, Various locations, Willing to relocate
• Ability to Supervise: 3-4 people
