• Title: Gravel Truck Driver  
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Evening
• Salary: To be negotiated
• Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible 
• Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta  

• Education: Some high school, Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
• Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's Licence (Class 1 or A), Not applicable, Not required
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
• Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer, Tractor-trailer B train, Flatbed, Dump
• Type of Travel: Local
• Documentation Knowledge: Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Trans-border documentation, Maintenance and repair reports, Trip reports, Accident or incident reports
• Communication Equipment Experience: Citizens band (CB) radio, Cellular phone
• Specific Skills: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Loading and unloading of goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Plan travel schedules and routes, Receive and relay information to central dispatcher, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Perform preventive maintenance, Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Additional Skills: Professionalism in customer service
• Security and Safety: Driving record check (abstract), Drug test
• Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
• Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Valid driver's licence
