Finning (Canada) is accepting applications from individuals interested in a Payables Administrator position at Branch 40.
Reporting directly to Regional Business/Facilities Manager, this individual will be responsible for processing of Accounts Payable invoices.
The successful candidate will have Post secondary education in Business Administration or 3 years of previous office experience. This self-motivated individual will be a team player with highly developed organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills who is capable of working with minimal supervision. Candidates will be customer focused and able to multitask in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of the MS Office package will be considered an asset.
Duties to include:
- Timely and accurate coding and data entry of bills, payables, cheque requisitions and invoices.
- Preparing monthly AP reports, including outstanding payables, prepaid and accrual schedules.
- Contacting vendors, both internal and external, on a regular basis to deal with any issues or corrections that may arise.
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Business/Facilities Manager, Branch Manager, Maintenance Department and Service Department as required.
- Support the Maintenance Department as it relates all local purchases for the day to day consumables and repair parts/supplies
- Support the Parts and Service Departments as it relates to issuing local POs and to act as a Receiver for various Parts and Service issued Pos.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of all customer account tracking, PO’s and correspondence
Note: A recent Driver’s Abstract will be required.
