This is a temporary position working forty (40) hours per week with an approximate end date of September 11, 2008. There are ten (10) positions to be filled.
Under close supervision, perform general labourer duties required in the maintenance of parks, playgrounds and school grounds, cemeteries and other parks and recreation facilities. Perform various duties using small hand and power tools and equipment, including whips and push mowers.
Qualifications:
- Grade eleven (11) or twelve (12) high school diploma.
- A valid Alberta Class five (5) driver’s license is required.
- Must communicate effectively and understand instruction and safety procedures.
- Must be medically and physically able to perform, on an ongoing bases all of the duties of this position and in all weather conditions.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
Salary $24.56 (Temporary)
In addition to the rate of pay, we also offer an additional annual payment of $12,480 which represents a cost of living allowance and wellness payment.
