Job Description

RCMP Detachment
 
This is an on-call position working on an as needed basis.
 
With some independent action, perform shared administrative and clerical support duties for the RCMP Detachment’s Operations NCO and the Support Services NCO to include research; assemble and summarize data; maintain records and filing systems; respond to inquiries; produce correspondence, reports, and meeting minutes and agendas; coordinate and assist with various initiatives.
 
Qualifications:
 

  • Grade twelve (12) diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Two (2) year Office Administration Diploma.
  • A minimum of two (2) years’ related experience.
  • Previous experience in a comparable position working for the RCMP is considered an asset.
  • Proven ability to take and produce accurate minutes is required.
  • Above-average interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
  • Must use a high degree of discretion due to the confidentiality of the work environment.
  • Ability to acquire an RCMP enhanced reliability clearance is essential.
 
 Salary $27.95 (on-call rate)
 
In addition to the rate of pay, we offer an additional annual payment of $12,480 (pro-rated
for hours worked) which represents a cost of living allowance.
