General Accountability:
The Fort McKay Group of Companies is currently recruiting for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for Muskeg Mountain LP. The Heavy Equipment Operator is to conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission of Muskeg Mountain LP and the vision and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies. This position will be located in Fort McMurray, AB.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in the Heavy Equipment field is required
- Grade twelve (12) Diploma or GED Equivalent is required
- Current valid driver’s license , Class five (5) or better with clean drivers abstract
- CSTS and OSSA (OSSA can also be obtained through Fort McKay Group of Companies Orientation)
- Ability to perform shift work – day and night
- Ability to speak, write and read English
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Conduct pre-operational check on equipment
- Comply with all road regulations on site
- Be alert to risks or threats in order to prevent losses before they occur
- Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of the equipment
- Report all damage of the equipment to the Team Leader
Note:

Working Conditions:
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. There are some physically demanding aspects of the job such as climbing the equipment.
