Keyano College is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to assume this permanent, full-time faculty position commencing July 1, 2008.
 
Responsibilities
 
The Keyano College Counselling & Career Services Department is a comprehensive center which provides personal, career, and academic counselling, disabilities services, co-operative education, and career services. The successful candidate will work with students with disabilities to assist them with personal, educational and social concerns. Duties will include the administration and interpretation of psycho educational assessments, assisting students with the development of educational, financial, and career planning strategies. Also the successful candidate will be required to work with instructors and other college personnel to provide appropriate support for students.
 
Qualifications
 
Master's Degree in Educational Psychology or Counselling with a minimum of three years experience working in a college counselling center. Professional designation such as Chartered Psychologist is preferred or a member in good standing (or eligible of membership) in profession organizations such as the College of Alberta Psychologists. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, take initiative to develop program ideas and collaborate with colleagues. Excellent communications skills and a commitment to working in a team environment are required. Knowledge of disability services programming and the ability to interpret learning assessments are an asset.
Salary$65,305 - $93,930 per annum plus an attractive benefits package. Placement on the salary scale will be based on educational and experiential qualifications.
