Description
Keyano College has an immediate opening for a Truck Transport Instructor in the Trades & Heavy Industrial Division. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing immediately.
Responsibilities
The instructor will be required to prepare and deliver lessons and demonstrations to students in classroom and field situations, assist in keeping curriculum concurrent with industrial requirements, maintain necessary student records and perform other related instructional duties.
Qualifications
A valid Alberta Driver Instructor's License – Class 1 and Class 3, Instructor Certification in Professional Driver's Improvement Course, Air Brakes, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods. A Grade 12 education is preferred. Candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of varied Trucking/Bussing experience and an ability to operate a variety of trucks and heavy equipment. Previous instructional experience in an adult educational environment would be a definite asset.
Salary Placement on the salary scale will be dependent upon educational and experiential qualifications.
