Description
The Trades & Heavy Industrial Division of Keyano College is currently seeking a knowledgeable, experienced Welding Examiner/Instructor. This is a full-time permanent position commencing as soon as suitable candidate is found.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to provide practical Welder Recertification Examination for ABSA and CWB recertification. Some development and instruction of industry specific courses may also be required.
Qualifications
Alberta/Red Seal Journeyperson Welding certificate and "B" pressure certification. Candidates must have a minimum of:
CSA 178.2 Weld Inspector Level 2
W47.1 & W59 codes certification
And/or ABSA Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency
Dual certification, pressure vessel and structural steel experience would be a definite asset and preference will be given to those with instructional/recertification experience.
Salary
To be negotiated plus an attractive benefits package. Placement on the salary scale will be dependent upon certification and experience.
