Keyano College is currently seeking an experienced self-motivated journeyperson who is enthusiastic about passing their trade onto a future skilled workforce in our Trades and Heavy Industrial Training Division. This is a permanent position commencing immediately.
Responsibilities:
- As an instructor you will be required to prepare and deliver quality lessons and practical demonstrations to adult students as directed in the curriculum and course outline.
- Evaluate and develop students in all aspects of the Steam/Pipefitter trade, including use of extensive theory and shop delivery methods of all 3 levels of the Alberta
- Apprenticeship programs and the development and instruction of specific courses in the Steamfitter/Pipefitter trades as required by industry.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Journeyperson Steamfitter/Pipefitter certification.
- Adult Education certification would be an asset. A valid class 5 driver’s license is required for this position.
- A minimum, five years post journeyperson experience is preferred.
Salary:
- Placement on the salary scale is dependent upon education, qualification and experience.
