Acuren is seeking an Operations Manager. This individual will work closely with the Managing Director to improve the efficiency, effectiveness and uniformity of the divisional operations and administration.
 
What is Non-destructive Testing? Non-destructive Testing (NDT) is an inspection process that utilizes many different methods to ensure material and structural quality without impairing its future usefulness.
 
Methods used in NDT
 
Standard Methods:

  • Visual Inspection,
  • Ultrasonic,
  • Magnetic Particle,
  • Liquid Penetrant,
  • Radiography, and Eddy Current
Advance Methods:
  • Digital Radiography,
  • Phased Array,
  • Remote Field Eddy Curren,
  • Electromagnetic Acoustic Transducer,
  • Magnetic Flux Leakage,
  • Infrared Inspection
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Operation management
  • Communication
  • Project management
  • Personnel management
  • General accounting
  • Customer Service
What you will bring:
  • Associates degree or higher in Business or related field; desired but not required
  • Strong technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage people, projects and meet financial objectives
  • Excellent math skills with the ability to create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets
  • Ability to self-direct in order to accomplish the work load of the office
  • Ability to work in a fast paced office environment
  • Willingness and ability to work overtime routinely
