Overview:
Acuren is seeking a Director of Compliance. The Director of Compliance will monitor Quality/Compliance programs and systems, liaise with clients, lead major projects, and supervise local compliance staff. The position is full time and is based in Fort McMurray, AB
Primary responsibilities include:
- Coaching staff on all aspects of Acuren’s Quality/Compliance Systems
- Develop and execute on programs that will reduce work quality risk
- Develop strategic goals around quality programs
- Administer and enforce quality policies and the relevant programs
- Establish and maintain processes to track and interpret Canadian and industry regulations and relevant standards, and ensure policies/procedures are updated accordingly
- Monitor the performance of the QMS
- Develop and implement a workplace audit schedule
What you will bring:
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in consulting or industry
- Familiarity with API, NACE, ASME and AWS/CWB codes
- Knowledge of nondestructive testing and quality assurance systems
- Personable and engaging oral, written and presentation communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Team facilitation capabilities
- Professional, respected, mature personal attributes
