Overview:
 
Acuren is seeking a Director of Compliance. The Director of Compliance will monitor Quality/Compliance programs and systems, liaise with clients, lead major projects, and supervise local compliance staff. The position is full time and is based in Fort McMurray, AB
 
Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coaching staff on all aspects of Acuren’s Quality/Compliance Systems
  • Develop and execute on programs that will reduce work quality risk
  • Develop strategic goals around quality programs
  • Administer and enforce quality policies and the relevant programs
  • Establish and maintain processes to track and interpret Canadian and industry regulations and relevant standards, and ensure policies/procedures are updated accordingly
  • Monitor the performance of the QMS
  • Develop and implement a workplace audit schedule
What you will bring:
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in consulting or industry
  • Familiarity with API, NACE, ASME and AWS/CWB codes
  • Knowledge of nondestructive testing and quality assurance systems
  • Personable and engaging oral, written and presentation communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Team facilitation capabilities
  • Professional, respected, mature personal attributes
