Role and Responsibilities

• Supports the execution leadership for specific areas of the Facilities scope of the project. Examples of specific tasks include:
• Work closely with the Client counterpart(s) to stay abreast of current project drivers, strategies, potential changes, and areas where execution assistance would be beneficial to the project.
• Provide leadership in management and supervision of the EPC contractor including responsibility for safety, quality, cost and schedule.
• Provide Constructability input into construction execution.
• Actively participates in Change Management and schedule development / forecasting.
• Supports the construction site manager and area project manager for management of the Facilities contract
• Review EPC contractor progress reporting
• Responsible that construction execution plan is carried out
• Responsible that construction contractor’s HSE plan is followed
• Responsible that construction contractor implements and changes required to correct deficiencies that are identified through safety and quality audits
• Ensures the construction contractor implements a Workface Planning Tool
• Ensures that lessons learned are captured and shared
• Coordinate work of Facilities K008 contractor with other contractors on site

• Mega project experience
• Brownfield project experience
• Alberta project experience
• Experience with the implementation of Fluor’s project execution systems and procedures
• Support and embrace the Client’s Project Objectives and Strategies
• 8 – 15 years Field Experience

• Previous Fluor experience highly desirable
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
