COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR
Keyano College is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our student-centered Business Administration/Computer Information Systems Department. Keyano College offers diverse and unique opportunities for growth and professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Specific teaching assignments will vary according to the needs of the Department and the strengths of the successful applicant.
- Applicants will teach courses in MS-Office applications, and introductory courses in computer programming, networking, structured and object-oriented design and management information systems.
- The Department also offers courses in Hardware, Data Communications, Local Area Networks, Data Management, Operating Systems as well as intermediate and advanced programming courses.
- Other duties include course preparation, curriculum development (for traditional in-class and online delivery), student evaluation, and student recruitment.
- The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and participate in a wide range of other departmental and College related activities.
- This position will commence August 11, 2008.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At a minimum, applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Preference will be given to applicants with a Master's degree and teaching or industry experience.
SALARY: Based on educational and experiential qualifications plus an attractive benefits package.
