Krupp Canada Inc. is a world leader in the design and supply of bulk materials handling systems.  Its products include conveyor systems, in-pit crushing plants, rotary breakers, and continuous ship loaders.    With the oil sands industry continually expanding in Northern Alberta, Krupp has concentrated on supplying oil producers with the necessary equipment for oil sands mining and processing.  Reporting to the Construction Manager and Document Control Manager, the Senior Site Document Controller is responsible for all aspects of document control from the construction site in Fort McMurray.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Set-up and maintains site Document Control business processes and procedures.
  • Receives, logs, tracks, files, monitors and distributes engineering and supplier drawings and documents, transmitted from the Calgary office.
  • Expedites the review and approval of engineering deliverables and supplier documentation.
  • Plans, supervises and records document flow to and from all appropriate parties.
  • Issues, receives, logs, tracks, files, monitors and distributes of change management documents (RFI, NCR, ECN, etc.)
  • Maintains the site MDR.
  • Maintains the site hardcopy library.
  • Assists in creation of TO and QA packages as required.
  • Follows all policies and procedures to maintain a healthy and safe work environment
Required Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in computerized and manual document control management in an oil/gas related industry.
  • Experience in managing records within an Electronic Document Management System.
  • Experience in various electronic drawing file formats.
  • Thorough knowledge of project documentation and engineering terminology.
  • Must have strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and organization skills.
  • Self starter and be able to work independently as well as a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word & Excel
Work Environment:
  • Located at site outside Fort McMurray, AB
  • Executive camp accommodations at Beaver River Lodge
  • Company provided flights in and out of camp
  • 10 days in, 4 days off rotation
