Position Summary:
L. Robert Enterprises, an affiliate of CEDA International, provides heavy equipment and trucks repairs, welding and fabricating, equipment rentals and parts sales to a wide range of industries in the Wood Buffalo region.
L.Roberts is currently seeking qualified Third and Fourth year Heavy Equipment Apprentices for its Fort McKay location. This hourly position will report directly to the acting Lead Hand on shift.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
- Determine extent of repair required
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance,
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work, Service attachments and working tools
- Demonstrate initiative with sound work ethic
- Ability to take direction and work in a team environment
Role Specifications:
- Registered Third or Fourth year apprentice in the Heavy Equipment field
- Uncomprising commitment to Health and Safety
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to produce a negative result on an A&D test
