The Opportunity
Denesoline Janitorial LP is now accepting applications for a HSE Field Coordinator for its
Shell Albian operations. This position will consist of 12 hour night shifts on a rotational 4:5/5:4.
As a HSE Field Coordinator reporting to the Site Manager, you will primarily detect and rectify unsafe or unhealthy working conditions, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing workplace safety.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research safety topics and prepare presentations/information for safety tool box meetings
- Assist supervisors in the development and implementation of practical hazard management programs. Inspect work areas to ensure equipment, materials, and processes do not present a safety or health hazard.
- Investigate janitorial health and safety related complaints and/or issues
- Investigate workplace incidents and ensure all documentation is provided to Corporate Safety department and all other parties.
- Ensure all team members are adhering to proper Health & Safety standards and working collaboratively with HSE Corporate team in regards to safe work practices
- Assist, mentor & cooperate with other members of the HSE team and Janitorial staff.
- Other duties as defined by the site manager.
Qualifications:
- NCSO Certification
- 3 years of directly related safety experience
- Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate a personal commitment and positive attitude toward workplace health and safety
- High degree of accuracy and attention to details
- Ability to manage multiple high-level responsibilities and tasks
Pre-employment Requirements:
- Drug, Alcohol and Audio pre-screening test
- Class 5 License, Clean Driver’s Abstract (current within 30 days)
