Canada Safeway Limited requires an experienced 2nd Assistant Manager for Fort McMurray.
Role and Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day operations including: customer service, hiring, training, merchandising, budgeting and planning.
- You will have management experience in a retail field and possess excellent communication, interpersonal and supervisory skills.
- Previous retail management experience is an asset.
A variety shifts including weekends. This is an opportunity to join an exciting retail team as well as we offer a competitive compensation, benefits package and a relocation allowance.
If you are customer service driven and looking for an exciting opportunity and challenge, please provide
- A High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and a combination of four years post-secondary education and/or retail experience is required.
- Retail Grocery experience an asset.
- Proficient customer service and supervisory skills
- Solid understanding of overall store operations
- Strong Leadership skills
- High degree of initiative and sense of urgency
- Available to work flexible hours (am/pm shift)
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assist with implementing Division Grocery Merchandising programs.
- Ordering and minimizing out-of-stocks.
- Presentation of the department.
- Provide excellence in world-class customer service.
