Keyano College is currently seeking a knowledgeable, experienced Welding Instructor in our Trades and Heavy Industrial Training Division. This is a full-time permanent position commencing immediately.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Chair of Welder/Steamfitter/Pipefitter, you will be required to develop curriculum, instruct, evaluate, and develop students in all aspects of the Welding Trade, including the use of extensive theory and shop delivery methods.
  • Duties will include classroom and shop instruction and evaluation in the Apprenticeship Program.
Qualifications:
  • An Alberta Journeyperson Welding Certificate and “B” pressure certification.
  • Preference will be given to those with at least 5-10 years welding instructional experience.
  • Additional experience in Non-Destructive Testing, pressure vessel, and structural steel experience would be a definite asset.
