Job Summary:
The Intermediate Structural Engineer will be providing civil and structural support to the project team, ensuring that technical excellence, cost, schedule, and contractual requirements are achieved.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a recognized university with a Bachelors Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent.
- Registration with APEGGA in the province of Alberta.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive professional project management, project engineering or discipline engineering in the oil and gas or related industries.
- Recent experience in executing multi-projects and multi-disciplined small to medium sized projects
- Experience in telecommunication tower design is an asset
Essential Skills:
- Able to apply a sound knowledge of Civil/Structural engineering design principles to support the work processes in the execution of multiple projects.
- Able to develop work plans, scope of work, and execution of strategies.
- Analytical thinking
- High attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work in a team setting with Client Service Orientation
- Dependable self starter
