Role and Responsibilities
- The Intermediate Construction Scheduler/Planner will be responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of multiple construction projects from start to finish.
- Key responsibilities include preparing project reports/timelines, project budget estimatees, and equipment.
- This individual must show the ability to keep projects on time and within budget, as well as the ability to take corrective actions to remedy any slippages.
- The construction scheduler/planner must be able to travel to job sites as well as work in various weather conditions.
- He/She will act as the liaison between Hood Group and the client.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience with industrial projects and scheduling
- Excellent knowledge of Primavera
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project
Essential Skills:
- Familiar with compiling documents that are comply with industry standards
- An understanding of quality control programs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to work effectively in a team oriented environment
- Client Service Orientated
- Able to travel and/or live in temporary accommodations. Long hours and shift work may be required.
