Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Manager of Edmonton, the Sales Manager is a significant role responsible for the establishment and execution of all sales operations in Edmonton for Rohit Communities. The Sales Manager is responsible for the design of all marketing materials to assist in generation of all new home sales in Edmonton. The Sales Manager trains, mentors and coaches the Sales team to successful achievement of corporate goals.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Compiling micro/macro-economic market information on new homes, resales, and competitor’s sales activity, to include developing and maintaining competition surveys for all active neighborhoods.
- Monitors the progress of sales and absorption of products within the region.
- Perform monthly product tours and audits.
- Make pricing and product recommendations to Regional Manager.
- Assist Marketing in the design and development of sales centers.
- Analysis of the viability of existing and new markets within the region.
- Training and mentoring of sales staff.
- Address escalated customer concerns.
- Monitoring revenues from deposits and closings.
- Monitoring and ensuring accuracy of all purchase agreements.
- Day to day interaction with Sales Associates.
- All client concerns begin and end in the sales department.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Completion of University Degree in Business, specialization in Marketing or
- Completion of College Diploma in Business or
- Minimum 7 years experience in Sales and Marketing.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Management.
- 5-7 years experience in strategic planning and execution.
- Knowledge of construction process is an asset.
Interpersonal and Technical Skills:
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Confident and personable with a passion for sales and marketing.
- Managing customer relations skills.
- Research and analytical skills.
- Results orientated and able to work independently.
- Able to manage multiple projects on tight timeframes.
- Able to participate and facilitate group meeting with either senior executives or sales teams.
- Able to recruit, train and motivate all staff.
- Strong web marketing background.
