Lasernetworks is currently looking for a Junior Print Technician positioned in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
The Junior Print Technician responsibilities are, but are not limited to:
- Printer hardware set-up, configuration, repair, moving and user training as required.
- Interaction with clients and fellow support groups in a professional office environment.
- Printer usage data gathering.
- Set-up, configure and install printer hardware.
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair printer hardware.
- Troubleshoot software print output problems.
- Train users on printer hardware.
- Physically move printer hardware when required.
- Assess printer hardware installation requirements and coordinate solutions with other support groups
- Replace and track printer supplies
You must possess:
- Proficient with general PC usage, MS Office suite, wide range of file types, general knowledge PC and printer networking
- Advanced software troubleshooting and usage experience (preferably related to print)
- Hardware management, configuration, and database software experience (preferably related to print)
- PC troubleshooting experience (preferably related to print)
- Experience with network connectivity, servers, and network security
- Print server management and administration experience
- Printer accounting and management software experience
- Print hardware/software solutions development experience
- Manufacturer certified for printer hardware repair (preferably HP) and Comptia PDI+ certification
