SMS Equipment Inc. supplies equipment parts and service to the construction, forestry and mining industries and utility product users. It was created to provide customers with integrated solutions and to expand our service capabilities as a nationwide organization.
 
Reporting to the OHSE & Training Supervisor you will be responsible for the following duties:
 
The Role:

  • Receiving, sorting, entry and filing of OHSE &Training related data
  • Coordinate all customer site access (vehicles & employees)
  • Preparation, typing and posting of meeting minutes
  • Preparation and distribution of reports
  • Coordination of Action Logs
  • Update safety communication boards
  • Responsible for leading and lagging indicator statistical reports
  • Liaise with customers on training/OHSE documentation and updates.
  • Typing and formatting of OHSE related documents
  • Other administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • The successful candidate must possess above average organization and communication skills with the ability to creatively bring solutions to challenges that may present themselves.
  • Grade 12 with a minimum two years' of administrative experience
  • Related education is an asset.
