Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 Hourly for 60 hours per week, Dental Benefits, Life Insurance Benefits, Group Insurance Benefits

Location: Fort McMurray, AB, Alberta (1 vacancy)
 
Skill Requirements
 
Education:

• Some high school

 
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate,
• First Aid Certificate,
• Confined Space Entry Training

 
Experience:

• 3 years to less than 5 years

 
Languages:

• Speak English,
• Read English,
• Write English

 
Type of Construction:

• Industrial, commercial and institutional,
• Water mains,
• Sidewalks and curbs,
• Roads and bridges,
• Pipelines,
• Underground and tunnel work

 
Equipment and Machinery Experience:

• Bobcats,
• Compactors,
• Reciprocating saws,
• Small front end loaders

 
Weight Handling:

• Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

 
Specific Skills:

• Assist heavy equipment operators,
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction,
• Level earth to fine grade specifications,
• Clean and pile salvaged materials,
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites,
• Read blueprints

 
Security and Safety:

• Bondable,
• Driving record check (abstract)

 
Own Tools/Equipment:

• Steel-toed safety boots
