Job Description

Terms of Employment: Temporary, Full Time, Shift
Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 Hourly for 6 hours per week, As per collective agreement
Anticipated Start Date: 2012/04/01
Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta (35 vacancies )
 
Skill Requirements
 
Education:

• Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

 
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.):

• Ironworker Trade Certification,
• Ironworker Red Seal Certificate

 
Experience:

• 5 years or more

 
Languages:

• Speak English

 
Area of Specialization:

• Install pre and post-tensioned cables

 
Additional Skills:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

 
Security and Safety:

• Basic security clearance

 
Own Tools/Equipment:

• Steel-toed safety boots

 
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

• Fast-paced environment,
• Tight deadlines,
• Handling heavy loads,
• Physically demanding,
• Attention to detail,
• Standing for extended periods,
• Bending, crouching, kneeling
