Overview:
Acuren is seeking Full-Time radiographers to work through our AOS department. This position supplies camp accommodation and will be on a rotation of 6 weeks in and 3 weeks out. Acuren will allow the employees to work up to a maximum of 24 days within a rolling 28 day period. Schedules will be set by Acuren representatives and flights will be booked by Acuren.
Applicant MUST be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Set up and calibrate non-destructive testing equipment
- Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
- Follow techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection.
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
- Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
- Interpret radiographs
- Organize and report test results
- Perform specialized inspections
What you will bring:
- CGSB certification in RT2, MT2, And PT2
- We will also consider candidates with 8 years of experience and CEDO certification.
- Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks
- Knowledge of NDT equipment
- Clean Drivers abstract
