Design Group Staffing is currently recruiting for a CDMS Systems Support Administrator for our large oil/gas client in Fort McMurray. This is a long-term contract position with no LOA or relocation provided - local Fort McMurray resident preferred.
 
The Position
 
CDMS Systems Support Administrator
 
The CDMS Systems Support Administrator will work under the direction of the Local CDMS System Support Team Leader. The CDMS Systems Support Administrator will also work in conjunction the CDMS Training Team Leader and Local CDMS Team Leaders.
 
The primary role of the CDMS Systems Support Administrator is to work with their leader and provide systems support to the local CDMS group to ensure Contractors are reimbursed in a timely manner as per their contract agreements.
 
Role and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the CDMS Administrators and end users for application issues including interfaces to Lenel and Stripes. Escalate to Local CDMS Team Leader when necessary
  • Build mutually beneficial and effective relationships with Contract Managers, Contract Coordinators, Security, IT key support personnel, CDMS Global Support group, key Contractor personnel, Business Analyst and others as needed
  • Assist with the development of new Pay Formulas or revisions to existing, as required by contract changes / additions. Review pay formulas assigned to vendors quarterly.
  • Manage changes or additions to schedules in CDMS
  • Collaborate with Procurement, vendors and Center of Excellence (COE) on CDMS support for contract changes and additions. Identify impacts on CDMS.
  • First level of contact for CDMS technical /troubleshooting issues
  • Manual update of rate changes for Labour, Equipment and Material in CDMS as required
  • CDMS Account Administration (Timekeepers, Authorizers, Endorsers, Areas IDs, Area Groups) including regular review/cleanup of accounts and area ID groups
  • Development/updating of CDMS Technical Troubleshooting Procedures and assistance with Administrative procedures
  • Action CDMS SES Reports daily and escalate issues appropriately and timely (i.e. Procurement, CDMS COE, End user)
  • Inform PO Requisitoners of SOD (Segregation of Duty) conflicts and overruns on spend limit
  • Testing of new pay formulas and functionality of application enhancements/updates in acceptance environment
  • Management of retroactive rates in CDMS including retroactive rates that must be managed manually outside of CDMS. This will involve interfacing with CDMS COE, Vendor and Business Analyst
  • Identify control gaps within CDMS application, recommend actions to minimize risks and escalate to CDMS Global Support for resolution
  • Identify areas of non compliance to CDMS business processes/guidelines and contract terms escalating to Team Leader
  • Assist with CDMS Authorizer training in peak training times i.e. Turnarounds
  • Act as a back-up in the absence of their leader (SPOC) single point of contact for resolution/escalation of CDMS Application or interface issues to Global Support Team
  • Act as a back-up in the absence of their leader (SPOC) for escalation/resolution of Lenel issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree (or Business Diploma) in Finance or Business Administration or Computer Programming/ Technology would be beneficial, or 5 to 10 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of the CDMS System
  • Working knowledge of contract terms for payment and collective/union agreements
  • High level of confidentiality with regards to contract information
  • High level of confidentiality with regards to the client's CDMS employee information
  • Advanced knowledge of computer applications and software packages
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook and MS Access
