The Position
Keyano College is currently seeking a Guest Services Attendant for our Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre. This is a casual position with the potential to work up to 35hrs. The position will commence as soon as a qualified individual is found. This position will work Monday to Friday starting at 4:45am.
Role and Responsibilities
Reporting to the SSWC Customer Service Coordinator, the Guest Services Attendant is responsible for day-to-day activities as is related to greeting and receiving members, Keyano College staff and students.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- wristband and parking pass allotment in conjunction with the Guest Services Coordinator,
- entering programs into CLASS with the verification from Program Coordinators,
- answering incoming calls,
- entering members and program info into CLASS,
- performing facility tours, cash handling,
- filing, reception,
- equipment rentals, equipment set-up,
- towel service, supervising the field houses,
- enforcing our wristband and ID card policy and most importantly meeting the needs of our guests.
Qualifications:
- Candidates that will succeed at Keyano’s Syncrude Sport & Wellness Centre will have a passion for and posses experience in exceptional customer service.
- Your strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills will benefit our building and membership base as well as your ability to succeed in these positions.
- Team members must be able to multi-task, to work independently or as a member of a team and communicate openly with fellow co-workers as well as guests.
- Familiarity with CLASS software and POS (point-of-sales) systems as well as Standard First Aid and CPR Level C will be considered assets.
- Experience working in a fitness facility is preferred.
Salary: $22.05 per hour.
