We are currently looking for an experienced Junior Process Engineer
Please Note: It is a SHORT TERM CONTRACT
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to Process Engineers during Turnaround;
- Provide assistance with coordination of scopes for MOC/EWRs
- Maintain sound knowledge of regulatory requirements; work with regulatory agencies like ABSA, ERCB, AENV, etc., as required, ensuring facilities are in compliance;
- Ensure that all turnaround activities in the field are executed safely and responsibly according to good engineering practices and local legislation;
- Ensure that all activities in the field are executed in adherence to the company's operational and safety policies and propose improvements as deemed necessary.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and eligibility for professional registration with APEGGA;
- Minimum of 3 years of process engineering experience in field facilities
- Sound understanding of cold weather implication on startup/shutdown and normal operation of surface facilities and flow lines;
- Working knowledge of all relevant codes and standards;
- Very good knowledge of sound industrial practice in the area of operations;
- Superior analytical, planning, and execution capabilities, and the ability to develop timely effective solutions.
