The Position
Ever thought of coming to Fort McMurray to work as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic? We are currently looking for more than one Licensed Heavy Equipment Technicians to maintain and repair varying types of Light and Heavy Off-Road Equipment.
Job Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background with hydraulics, electrical and diesel systems and will have previous experience doing complete engine rebuilds and equipment tear downs.
- A valid Inter-provincial Heavy Duty Equipment Certificate is required for this role with ideally at least 5 years experience in the trade.
- Some field work may be required for this position, so attention to detail in very important.

Compensation:
- $44.00 - $46.00/hour.
- Wages offered are flexible depending on experience, and full employer paid benefits after 3 months, matching RRSP and a $1,600/month Living Allowance.
Shift:
- Days, 7:00am - 5:00pm (Monday to Friday).
- This is not a rotational position and you need to have flexibility to work overtime when needed.
