Role and Responsibilities
- Participate in the evaluation of heavy equipment problems
- Assist in field trouble shooting
- Ensure potential warrantable work is identified and documented as per regulations
- Support Turnaround and Project activities within the Maintenance group
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment through practice of the Alberta OH&S code and application of Company HS&E policies and standards
Qualifications:
- A Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyman Certificate in Alberta and/or an Interprovincial "Red Seal" Certificate
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent is required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the area of Heavy Equipment Maintenance
- Heavy equipment experience preferred
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Working knowledge and understanding of computer based Maintenance Planning Programs
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications would be beneficial in this role
