- Ensure the activities of the maintenance team are coordinated, and following procedure
- Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in operations
- Assist in troubleshooting high voltage equipment
- Document work in the JDE, work order system
- Identify and document recurring problems to assist in finding a solution
- Work closely with both the Planning and Operations group to identify and prioritize jobs
- Take a ‘hands on’ approach as needed
- Complete daily reports of activities
Job Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician with Inter-Provincial status is a MUST
- Oil and Gas Industry Experience is preferred
- Experience working with low, medium and high voltage equipment
- Experience with large horsepower motors, starters and isolating equipment
- Experience with small and large horsepower VFD drives
- Experience with VFD drives and various PLCs as well as program troubleshooting
- Experience with DCS and JDE CMMS or other CMMS system
- Experience with Steam and Gas Turbine generators and controls
- CSTS, Fall Protection and H2S Alive Certifications are considered beneficial
