Job ID:  job-366 Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the activities of the maintenance team are coordinated, and following procedure
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure safety and efficiency in operations
  • Assist in troubleshooting high voltage equipment
  • Document work in the JDE, work order system
  • Identify and document recurring problems to assist in finding a solution
  • Work closely with both the Planning and Operations group to identify and prioritize jobs
  • Take a ‘hands on’ approach as needed
  • Complete daily reports of activities
Job Requirements:
  • Journeyman Electrician with Inter-Provincial status is a MUST
  • Oil and Gas Industry Experience is preferred
  • Experience working with low, medium and high voltage equipment
  • Experience with large horsepower motors, starters and isolating equipment
  • Experience with small and large horsepower VFD drives
  • Experience with VFD drives and various PLCs as well as program troubleshooting
  • Experience with DCS and JDE CMMS or other CMMS system
  • Experience with Steam and Gas Turbine generators and controls
  • CSTS, Fall Protection and H2S Alive Certifications are considered beneficial
