Location:  Fort McMurray
Position Status:  Permanent, Full-time
Department:  Finance Department
 
Team lead data entry has to manage the data entry and control the related departments. The job revolves around the overseeing of the data entry work .He or she will have to perform supervisory and administrative duties as needed, and operates data entry on specialized or highly difficult jobs subordinates can’t handle. The candidate desiring for the post should have the qualities of good judgment and extreme initiative and is accountable for the quality and productivity of all data entry work.
 
Role and Responsibilities

  • Planning and assigning work to each  employee
  • Handle the personnel review and disciplinary actions, including suspension and termination of  employees if needed
  • Formulate training methods and handle training of new hire workers or employees
  • Teaching new employees proper data entry procedure
  • Orient new hires in company policies, and integrating them smoothly into company operations
  • Develop new work methods and procedures to make data entry as efficient and productive as possible
  • Facilitate the work flow of data entry and make it as streamlined as possible
  • Prepare data entry instructions and systems with the documentation
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all data entry work
  • Review all data processed by the operators, and also have to check mechanisms and quality controls implement
  • Coordinate with other departments in other related matters as it compliments to each other
  • Liaise and work together with Corporate Payroll and Town Office Department
  • Help implement balancing procedure
  • Communicate daily issues with Comptroller and Regional Office Manager in a timely manner
  • Work together with  Turn Around Coordinators for the proper  handling of time sheets
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Assigns, reviews and checks work of regular employees during a major portion of the time
  • Supervises regular employees, including making recommendations about personnel actions
  • Significant discretion in creating, processing and controlling highly sensitive information
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Computer skills including the ability to use spreadsheet , word processing ,power point presentation programs at a highly proficient level
  • Detail-oriented
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to liaise with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and deadline restraints of different projects
  • Working cooperatively with other employees, customers, clients 
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Experience with CCC, CDMS, SAT programs preferred
  • Team player with ability to multi-task, with excellent oral and written skills
  • Provide a clean drug and alcohol test
Education
  • Office Administration diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum1-2 years office experience with a focus on data entry, payroll and finance
  • Experience with Great Plains will be an asset
