The Position
 
Roevin Technical People is seeking a CWB Level 2 Inspectors for site. 
 
Role and Responsibilities

• Interpret welding procedures and ensure all work is executed using the appropriate welding procedure.
• Examine and acceptance or reject pressure welds and welding performance.
• Ensure an "Inspection Test Plan" is issued for each work package and to discuss the applicable inspection activities with the Craft Foreman responsible for work execution.
• Circulate and maintain all forms and records pertinent to the Quality Plan.
• Plan, schedule and dispatch Non-Destructive Testing Personnel in accordance with project requirements.
• Monitor welding activities and quality performance to ensure an acceptable standard of quality is achieved.
• Verify welder qualifications.
• Provide source/shop inspection for Subcontractors where applicable and ensure Subcontractor's work meets customer requirements.
• Review incoming work packages to ensure they comply with Client Standards and Applicable Codes.
• Witness pressure testing and ensuring that recordable calibrated pressure gauges are used.
• Witness pneumatic testing and ensure that a procedure is in place and the authorized inspector is consulted before test commences.
• Document, report and initiate "Non-Conformance Reports" for any non-conforming items.
• Coordinate with Client and/or Authorized Inspector on all requested inspection activities.
• Verify all materials purchased and installed are to ASME Code and Client specifications.
• Ensure work packages are complete and turned over to the customer progressively.

• A Materials or Welding Engineering technical diploma; or
• CWB level I, II or III certification; or
• API 510 or 570 certification; and
• Minimum two (2) years of practical experience as a Quality Control
