Role and Responsibilities
- Performs the overall planning and scheduling activities on capital & operations projects
- Integrate the contractor's schedules into operations master schedules
- Collect field data and liaises with the project team to prepare project look ahead and updates schedules
- Monitor the project costs, cash flows, budget, resources deployed, project schedules, identify delays, controls cost impacts/variations
- Prepares project progress reports
- Keep track of all project documentation at all stages of the project and coordinate in the final turnover to Operations documentation system
- Maintain inventory management system
- Other duties might be assigned depending on the project specialization
Qualifications
- University degree/diploma in a related discipline (alternative qualification such as an experienced trade person with relevant experience can be accepted);
- 5+ years of project planning/scheduling experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with various deadlines
- Advanced computer skills with MS Word and Excel with detailed knowledge of Primavera (P6)
- Strong computer background including experience with MS Word and Excel, HCSS, and Primavera
- Familiar with construction methodology as well as experience working on large complex construction projects
- Demonstrated mathematical and analytical skills
