Responsibilities 

  • Troubleshooting Windows, Office, Outlook, and application software and hardware issues
  • Troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose network problems on the desktop level
  • Communicate feedback to technical infrastructure team on common issues and suggest efficiency improvements
  • Assist with general help desk support
  • Complete equipment and user moves, additions and changes for desktop technology
  • Complete operational duties as assigned
  • Complete diagnostics, operational tasks and commissioning of system servers as assigned
  • Other duties may be assigned as required 
Qualifications 
  • Year of related work experience is preferred
  • High school graduation with related post-secondary training and/or advanced courses or a diploma or certificate from a recognized post secondary institution
  • Proven track record in PC hardware and software support
  • Sound understanding of basic IP and Microsoft networking  principles
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment an asset
  • Excellent oral, written and communication skills
  • Strong customer service aptitude
Note:
 
Will be required to work in Edmonton and other locations in Alberta
