As a Mechanic A...
Key Responsibilities:
- The mechanic will work to keep all equipment in top running condition through an effective preventative maintenance program
- Must be a master technician and assumes a leadership role of product knowledge and standard of quality within the branch
- Has mastered the operating standards of his branch, the region and corporate
- Able to perform their role without direct supervision
Education:
- Licensed/Certified Mechanic
Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge of Internal Combustion Engines (both gas and diesel), DC Electrical Systems, Propane Systems, Hydraulics, Track Equipment, Aerial Equipment, and Heavy Trucks/Automotive
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot: Fuel Systems, Electrical Systems, Hydraulic Systems, and Propane Systems.
- Able to perform complete repair and overhaul functions
- Basic welding techniques
- Own a master mechanic tool set
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Maintain a clean driving record
- 2+ years experience in the heavy equipment industry, diesel engine experience and hydraulics preferred.
- Strong electrical diagnosis skills.
- Clean Driver's abstract and valid Driver's License
- Ability to work overtime
- Able to lift 50+ lbs
