The Position
 
To meet client commitments and future growth opportunities, Fluor Canada is seeking qualified experienced Material Receiving QA Specialist candidates for field positions located in Northern Alberta.
 
Role and Responsibilities

• Performs surveillance of contractors and suppliers to determine their conformance to programmatic, procurement, and design requirements
• Monitors inspection plan implementation and modifies plans, as necessary, to maintain inspection continuity
• Verifies that required inspections, examinations, and preservation activities have been performed and results properly documented as material is received at the site location.
• Possesses working knowledge of applicable specifications, procedures, drawings, standards, and codes

• Diploma in Mechanical, Welding, Electrical or Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent project experience
• Typically has at least 8 years of progressive construction and technical experience, preferably in foreman to GF level

• Previous Fluor experience highly desirable
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
